Biography

Jennifer Garner is an American actress and is famously know for staring in the hit series Alias. She was born on 17th April 1972. She is a middle child born between two sisters. While growing up, she enrolled in ballet classes but this did not develop into a career. She attended George Washington High School where she graduated with saxophone playing skills. She went further to study chemistry at Denison University. She was passionate about acting as she found herself more inclined to stage acting hence changed her major to drama. She got training at the National Theater Institute in Waterford, Connecticut where she was a natural. A visit to New York City to see a friend led her to test the waters of the film industry where she has not looked back to this day.

Her first breakthrough was in the movie Zoya, which was based on a Danielle Steel novel. However, she had earlier taken part in the play a month ago in the country but as an understudy making $300 a week. Her stardom can be attributed to the hit series Alias where she plays agent Sydney Bistrow. This has lead her into other major screen hits such as 13 going on 30, Elektra, Daredevil among others which were major hits globally.

She has grown in income and status where she was ranked position 70 out of the Power100 in 2005 by Forbes. Her income status has tremendously grown over the years as a result of the runaway success of hit productions. Apart from the awards related to acting, Jennifer boasts of another award for her dedication, work ethic and uniqueness as a role model and ambassador for the state of West Virginia. She enjoys other activities such as cooking, gardening and sporting activities such as hiking and kick boxing which she picked up from the training in Alias.

She is unique as she has an upbringing that is unique to her. While growing up, she had strict parents who ensured that they followed strict set rules. They were made to go to church every Sunday; they were not to wear makeup and were only allowed to pierce their years when they reached 16. We can acknowledge that she had a sound upbringing. She was never extravagant in the clothes she wore. They were simple and designer clothes were not even an option. She has carried on this culture as she continues to dress conservatively in contrast to other celebrities.

Although she likes to keep her life private, Jennifer went through a series of relationships before finding Ben Affleck who she is happily married to to date. She has borne him two beautiful daughters.
